Capabilities
Tactical Data Links
Software for building, bridging and analysing tactical data links — from Link 16 through Link 11/22 to WAN coupling via SIMPLE and JREAP.
Tactical Data Links (TDL) connect sensors, effectors and command systems into a shared operational picture. LinkSystems develops software that builds, bridges, analyses and prepares such networks — conforming to the STANAG 5602 and MIL-STD-3011C standards.
The capability ranges from gateway functions between IP-based Link 16 networks and the routing of multiple SIMPLE/JRE nodes to the preparation of MIDS loadfiles.
Focus areas
- Bridging IP-based Link 16 networks using MIDS-LVT radios
- Building TDL networks over packet-based wide-area connections
- Preparing network-, platform- and mission-specific MIDS loadfiles
- Processing to STANAG 5602 and MIL-STD-3011C (JREAP)
